Preparation & Care Instructions

Review the guidance for your service and follow the personal instructions supplied with your appointment. These summaries are adapted from the Vancouver treatment and FAQ guidance.

Your appointment instructions are specific to your skin, procedure and products. If anything is unclear, contact Elina before applying a product or changing your care routine.

Before your visit

Read the preparation information and complete the intake forms supplied for your treatment. Tell Elina about existing pigment, previous removal and product sensitivities during your consultation. If you do not have the instructions for your booked treatment, contact the studio before your visit.

The PMU and removal intake asks you to arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area, and to avoid caffeine and alcohol for the preceding 24 hours. Complete the procedure-specific health questionnaire accurately so Elina can assess whether your appointment can proceed.

Bring a clear idea of your preferred finish. For lip colour, a favourite lipstick or gloss can help the discussion. Check your appointment time, local time zone and Oakville address.

PMU healing and colour stabilization

The booking guidance distinguishes early surface healing, usually around 3–5 days, from pigment settling. Individual healing varies. Allow around 6–8 weeks before assessing the final colour with Elina.

Fresh pigment can look stronger, then temporarily lighter or uneven as it settles. Follow your personal aftercare instructions throughout this period. Resume makeup only once initial healing is complete and the skin is no longer open, flaking or irritated; follow the specific instructions for your treated area.

A touch-up is a separate appointment and charge. It may be recommended after evaluating the healed result; it is not automatically included in the initial service.

PMU brows

Fresh brows can appear sharper and more saturated than the healed finish. The colour softens as the skin heals. The Vancouver guidance describes mild dryness and flaking during healing; follow your supplied care instructions and contact Elina if you are concerned about your response.

Assess the settled result with Elina. The Vancouver FAQ recommends sending a clear photo of healed brows after around 6–8 weeks to discuss whether refinement is useful. Check the specific Oakville touch-up option and eligibility before booking.

Lip blush & neutralization

An aftercare kit is included in the Oakville lip service. Read and follow the instructions provided with it. Mild dryness and flaking can occur while the lips heal; the colour immediately after treatment is not the final settled colour.

Discuss your healed result before a separate touch-up. If you have previous lip pigment, have it assessed before booking further work.

Lash line enhancement

Follow the eye-area instructions supplied at your appointment, including when to resume makeup. Contact Elina if you need clarification rather than applying general brow or lip care to the lash line.

Give the treated area time to heal before assessing the pigment. The Oakville calendar lists a separate perfecting appointment for 6 weeks–3 months; discuss your healed result first.

Brow lamination

The Oakville service includes tinting and a nourishing formula. Follow the product-specific instructions Elina provides for the treated hairs. Ask about sensitivities and whether a patch test is appropriate before your visit.

The calendar describes results lasting around 4–6 weeks. Discuss when a repeat appointment would be suitable for your hair growth and condition.

Lash lift & tint

The Vancouver guidance advises avoiding water, steam and makeup for the first 24 hours after a lash lift. Follow the product-specific care instructions from your appointment. A patch test is recommended in the Vancouver FAQ; discuss this and any current eye concerns before treatment.

The Oakville calendar describes results lasting around 4–6 weeks. Your natural lash growth affects how the lifted result changes over time.

Laser & remover removal

Aftercare instructions are provided for the removal method used. Laser and remover are different treatments; use the instructions for your actual procedure.

The Vancouver removal guidance advises avoiding saunas and direct sun exposure and following the practitioner’s aftercare instructions. Discuss the appropriate sun-protection routine and timing with Elina. Further sessions must allow for healing and reassessment of the pigment.
